Comadan contributes to the development of electronics in the project by providing both technical expertise, development resources and structured processes that ensure that the solution moves from idea to a finished product ready for production.
Our role typically spans the entire development process – from the initial specifications to validation and production maturation.
Comadan works with the project team to define requirements and specifications.
This includes clarification of functional needs, performance, environmental requirements and relevant standards.
Here, we contribute with advice on the choice of components, architecture and technologies, so that the solution is both robust and future-proof.
Comadan develops the electronics, including circuit design (schematics), printed circuit board layout (PCB design) and selection of components.
At the same time, production, testability and costs are taken into account so that the design is suitable for series production.
Often, firmware or embedded software development is also included as part of the solution.
Once the design is in place, prototypes are made.
These are used to test functionality, performance, and integration with the rest of the system.
Comadan is typically responsible for testing and debugging as well as iterations of the design until all requirements are met.
This phase can include testing and possibly pre-certification depending on the product’s use
The subsequent validation phase, it is ensured that the product meets applicable standards and requirements, e.g. in the areas of EMC, safety and quality.
Comadan can support documentation and testing processes that are necessary for approvals and certifications
Finally, Comadan works with production maturation.
This involves preparing production documentation, bills of materials (BOM), test procedures and collaboration with production partners.
The goal is to ensure a stable and efficient transition to high-quality series production with low margins of error.
